Throughout history cultures have used flowers to convey sentiment when words fell short. Many of those cultures even went so far as to attribute specific meanings to different flowers and developing an entire visual language of flowers. In this series of paintings and prints, Meredith worked with several dictionaries and guides that translates over 1,000 different varieties of flowers into floriography.
