To BIG for our Britches!

Have to ever gotten too big for your britches?
Atlanta Market happens twice a year. It consists of 3 massive buildings in Atlanta, GA packed to the brim with just about anything you can imagine and some you can't!
Christie and I attended market this year with high hopes and lots of confidence. So much so that we cut our trip a day short from last year. After all, we had been once! So, we now had some familiarity with the 7 million square feet and the millions of items located there.
After all, we know that Building 2 has the good stuff! The temporaries are our first stop as well. Temporaries are the non-permanent booths that usually have the small, family owned, handmade, homegrown products.
After about the 2nd day, your feet are hurting, and your brain has literally turned to mush. Speaking a simple sentence that makes sense becomes a major feat.
One saving grace is that they have bridges high above the streets of Atlanta that connect all of the buildings. This was especially nice since it was freezing cold outside. The bridges are like a tunnel with a glass arch. As you walk through you feel somewhat like a laboratory rat or a hamster.
During one of our many treks across the bridge, I looked at Christy and somehow said, "What were we thinking?" Why did we think we could do this one day less than last year?? We needed 2 days more! Her reply, "Yep, we got to big for our britches". And so, we did.
The moral of this story? Don't get too big for your britches! :)
